An estimated 75 million adults (42%) said
that reading the Bible is very important to them (the Barna Group) … but
less than 50% of Americans can name the first book of the Bible
(Gallup).
Among Bible readers, the average amount of time spent reading
the Bible is less than 7 minutes a day (the Barna Group). And yet, the average person spends
almost 5 hours a day watching TV (Communications Industry Forecast &

14 week Study begins April 13, 2010, Tuesdays @ 10:30 am ...
The Bible in 90 Days is both a Bible
and a curriculum that allows individuals to complete what for many
Christians is the goal of a lifetime—to read through the Bible
completely, from “cover to cover,” in a manageable time frame.
The basic plan consists of reading 12
pages a day of this specially prepared larger-print Bible—a task that
usually takes between 45 minutes and an hour—to help readers achieve
their goals.
Many people spend more time than that commuting back and
forth to work every day! This Bible is also part of a larger
program, a 14-week curriculum kit designed to help people read through
the entire text of the Bible with an opportunity to discuss their
reading in a community setting. This curriculum has proven
successful at churches and organizations with a range of denominational
affiliations. Need a frame of reference?
Reading 12 pages a
day in the NIV Thinline larger-print Bible is the same as...
3.5 pages of The Wall Street
Journal... 4 pages of USA Today... 10 pages of The Grand Rapids Press...
or 28 pages of The Purpose Driven
