About the windows

The beautiful, jeweled, stained-glass windows in the sanctuary contain symbols of our Christian faith, as well as commemorations of people and events in our Church's history:

The Good Shepherd: Jesus Christ.

As you enter the sanctuary, beginning on the left

The Beehive: symbolizes teamwork, each doing his or her part for the good of all.

The Anchor-Cross: symbolizes stability and hope in troubled times.

The Dove: refers to Noah's dove, The Flood, The Victory and New Life.

South Wall:

The Harp: Reminds us of the "Joyful Noise" that we make to the Lord.

The Book: The Holy Bible, God's instruction book for all of us.

The Grapes: The wine of the Last Supper.

 West Wall:

The Easter Lily: Resurrection (His and ours).

The Chalice: The wine cup of the Last Supper.

The Wheat: God's bounty to us.

Cross and Crown: Death, then heavenly reward to the faithful.

Clasped Hands: The brotherhood of man, under the fatherhood of God.

The All-Seeing Eye: God, who knows our most secret thoughts.
